Somewhat low contrast with the background color choice, the quilting is an attempt to better emphasize the pattern.

Checkmark: This is my second finish from my list of goals for Quarter Four, as linked with Adrianne at On the Windy Side 2015 FAL!

  1. Love this!!!! I did Scrap Dance as well (also Oct goal for ALYOF) and love how different the versions are. When Carole does Scrap Dance 2 next year, I am totally stealing using a solid blue as the background fabric!! :) Beautiful quilt!

  2. Love your Scrap Dance!! Your background really does show off the pattern and your quilting really sets it off beautifully!!! So glad you linked up with ALYOF so I could enjoy the eye candy!

  3. Your fabrics are GORGEOUS! Love the way this quilt turned out. That's it, I'm hooked! Now I'm a new follower too! LOVE your flag quit in the next post!!!

  4. It just delightful! Your quilting is perfect for it! Nice photo shoot, too! XO

  5. Looks great, Heidi!!! Your quilting design is a perfect choice with the patchwork. Thank you for participating, and I hope you come back for Scrap Dance II!

  6. A lovely finish for this quilt. Gorgeous colours. And the setting for your photo is stunning.

  7. Your Scrap Dance quilt turned out lovely. Blues are my favorite. I recognize that little black dog print. I had it in a couple colors or coordinating prints. I think I made zippered pouches from them years before they were all the rage. lol I love your setting for your photo shoot. I am going to have to go check out Scrap Dance. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Nice finish! I love the blue background and the quilting.

  9. Great photo - the landscape really sets off the quilt and I love the scrappiness! Thank you for participating in the FAL, on behalf of the 2016 global FAL hosts.
