I just stuffed it last night! The pattern is from Jinny Beyer's Patchwork Puzzle Balls. Her technique is traditional hand-piecing, however I actually used English Paper Piecing.
Brown Bear came out of the closet for the photo shoot.
He is nearly 50 years old now, and certainly looks it.
Yes, he was favored over all dolls and stuffie's throughout my early childhood!
I made his corduroy overalls almost 30 years ago..
Not sure what I am saving him for, some items just must be kept for others to deal with, haha.

Just the other day I was wondering if it was possible to make a ball with EPP. That is so fun Heidi! Was all the math is already done by Jinny Beyer? Such a cute photo with your little Brown Bear.
ReplyDeleteThat ball is so fun! Glad to see Teddy was available for the photo shoot. He seems very special!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! How big is the finished shape? Kisses to brown bear. He's the best!
ReplyDeleteI've made balls with Hexies, but never thought of Hexies and triangles - love it!
ReplyDeleteReplace "Hexies" with pentagons! I shouldn't send messages when I'm too tired to think straight! Xx
DeleteThe bear goes perfectly with the quilty ball. Great baby gift.
