85 years ago, Jacob A. Fortunoff (JAF of Jaftex), began peddling fabrics in New York City.

Today, Jaftex is a leader in the quilting industry. Jacob’s grandson, Robert, changed the business of the company in the 1980’s, when he purchased companies like A.E. Nathan, Henry Glass, Stylemaker, Chanteclaire, Fabric Editions/Studioe and more recently The Blank Quilting Corp..
September marks the 85th Anniversary of Jaftex, and they sure know how to celebrate---

I buy almost all my fabrics by internet and there are many fav and look shipping prices before buy.On one I buy charm packs and others buy FQ bundles.

I would have to choose Fat Quarter Shop.....don't have close Quilt shop close to us, only Jo-Ann's.
