We had a lovely Fourth of July this year; spent with friends, barbecue and fireworks.
I even ate a hot dog.
Any time spent sewing lately has been maintaining momentum with my dots, for Quilty365. I have made it past the half-way point now and just feel I need to follow this thing through. Like the Little Engine That Could. It still feels very much uphill..
Despite my good intentions, I am only now posting the June drawing winners for One Monthly Goal!
Names were randomly drawn for each prize, and winners have been notified by email, today:
Congratulations to Suzie, who blogs at Suzies's Armoire! Visit her blog to check out her latest project, a quilt filled with favorite book-covers! Have fun shopping Suzie:
$25.00 Gift Certificate to Fat Quarter Shop!
Thank you, Fat Quarter Shop!
Congratulations to Lisa, who Flickr's at Quilts by Lisa! Lisa's recent finish is a beautiful village of houses. With the new border, the village is now by the sea!
$20.00 Credit toward minimum purchase at Bag Maker Supply:
Thank you, Bagmaker!
Congratulations to Mary, who blogs at Mindful Things!
Mary has a knack for selecting color, and I admire her applique. I am inspired by her current quilt, Blooms for Julie. I love the light-heartedness of the applique and want to pull my Amy Butler flimsy, (this UFO pictured right here...
and add some large floral's surrounding the patchwork. I am thinking a bit funky, some brown, and pinks thrown in. hmm...
One goal at a time, lol!
Hope ya'll are staying focused, with a steady flow of mojo!
Just popped in to check out the winners, and was totally surprised to see my name (since I hadn't checked my email, yet)! Thanks so much for keeping us on track throughout the year!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't in the running this month, no OMG goal achieved this time. Congrats to all the OMG finishers!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners! I really enjoyed seeing the pics of your circles!
ReplyDeleteLove your flag circle. You are doing great with that project, and it's going to be awesome when you finish! I think your quilt would look great with some pretty appliquéd borders.
