November Goals: OMG!

Surprise, Surprise!
One Monthly Goal has moved locations!
The new home is with Patty, at Elm Street Quilts!

 Isn't it cute?
So...
This means I get to link-up with a goal of my own, at the November Linkup!
I aim to piece & sandwich this panel (#12) for my Daily Dot quilt. I am using QAYG method for the QAL hosted by Audrey at Quilty Folk. These dots represent September 16th - October 20th, so I am a bit behind. I am due to stitch block #366 on November 29th.
I hope you will join me over at Patty's place for monthly goal-setting!
Cotton Cuts has generously offered a one month subscription, fabric bundle!
Something like the one I received this month...
ooo-la-la!
Thank you all for your wonderful comments! I am still very limited with computer use and I regret that I will remain a "no-reply-to-your-comment-blogger" for awhile longer. Meanwhile, I ordered the Martelli Ergo Cutter as a way to change up muscle-use when I am cutting future quilts.
I can hardly wait to see how she handles.
Has anyone tried it?

I found this photo, and a review at Quilter's Review

  1. I've just started my own circles project although I've not set specific goals for myself. It is just a reason to sit and stitch! Thanks for being lucky #1 to link up in my first month of hosting. Appreciate all your work as our lovely hostess for OMG!

  2. I have a friend who fell in love with the Martelli when her hand was in a cast. I tried it but don't like the way it opens and closes. Do give it a good try as it should definitely help your shoulder.

  8. I'm so sorry that you are still having problems, Heidi! It was so fantastic of you to start OMG after ALYOF ended, and it's great that Elm Street Quilts is stepping in to help out. I hope rest means this won't be permanent! And now you get to participate.

  13. I've been pretty busy these last couple of weeks and just checked into Elm Street quilts to get some sewing mojo inspiration and found out you have been on the sewist's version of workman's comp. I do hope your wrists are healing and you have figured out more on how to keep it from happening in the future.

  15. Thank you for hosting the OMG all these months. You did a fabulous job.

I just got the Martelli Rotary cutter and I think I'm going to like it. It is going to take some getting used to but I can already tell that it is easier on my thumb and wrist. Good luck!

  18. Looking forward to seeing your final quilt for our daily circles. THE QAYG method is fascinating to me, though I have yet to try it. Hope you heal quickly and the new cutter works well for you.

  19. Hope you are feeling lots better. I've had those times where I had to stay off the computer due to physical issues. Thanks for playing hostess to the OMG for most of this year. It's really helped with my motivation. Good luck with your November goal.
